One night, a group of workers realizes that their administration has organized the stealing of machines from their factory. They soon understand that this is the first signal of a massive layoff.
Most of them refuse to cooperate during the individual negotiations and they start to occupy their workplace. So when the administration vanishes to their great surprise, they’re left with a half-empty factory…
As the world around them collapses, new desires start to emerge.

Passado na zona industrial de Alverca, o filme trabalha a relação entre um trabalhador e um realizador que procura fazer um filme a partir de uma fábrica em processo de falência.
Sob o signo da falência, as personagens tentam manter-se de pé e procurar os caminhos da reconfiguração da sua vida. Conduzidos por uma urgência e uma pulsão de vida qualquer que ainda lhes resta, ao verem colapsar o seu trabalho e todas as instituições que julgavam sólidas vêem-se empurrados a embarcar – com relutância e medo – numa experiência inesperada, numa aventura colectiva.
